2026 ISU World Junior Synchronized Championships
The World Junior Synchronized Championships took place from 13th-14th March in Gdansk, Poland.
Australia was represented by Southern Sky Junior who are based at Erina.
Getting to Junior Worlds is no mean feat. Aside from the logistics to coordinate a full team of skaters, they also had flight disruptions to get to Prague which was a problem in itself.
But they did get there. And their short program was very well skated with a clean performance, earning them a personal best score of 35.35 to finish in 21st place out of 26 teams.
Onto the Free Skate and again it was another well skated program with some very nice elements earning Levels 2 and 3 and achieving a Level 4 on their Travelling Element. It was a very happy team at the conclusion of their program. Their score of 59.63 was another personal best. They maintained their 21st place and finished in 21st overall with a score of 95.08. Congratulations to the team on their performance and Australia is proud of you.
