Ice Skating Australia Celebrates International Success at the 60th Ordinary ISU Congress | Tenerife 2026
Ice Skating Australia (ISA) is proud to announce the election of two distinguished Australian officials to key leadership positions within the International Skating Union (ISU) following the 60th Ordinary ISU Congress.
Susan Lynch, has been elected to the ISU Council. Her election is a significant achievement for both Susan and Australian skating, ensuring Australia has a strong voice in the governance and future direction of international skating.
In another outstanding result for Australia, Leah Bates has been elected to the ISU Technical Committee for Single & Pair Skating. Leah’s extensive experience, technical expertise, and dedication to the sport will make a valuable contribution to the continued development of figure skating worldwide.
The appointments of Susan and Leah reflect the high regard in which Australian skating officials are held internationally and recognise their many years of commitment and service to the sport.
